Are nose surgical procedures different?

Although several approaches have been historically mentioned for rhinoplasty surgery, but now, there are two major methods to perform rhinoplasty; the first is a close type, while the second is an open surgery.

In the closed methodology, the main sections are done inside the nose, while in the open procedure, a small incision is done in the nose bottom columellar.

Incisions sometimes done at the edge of alas to shrink the nostrils are performed in both methods and do not depend on the open and close nature of surgical procedures. Usually, the small incision at the nose columellar will be almost completely invisible even after 2-3 weeks.

Now, unlike decades before, there is more willingness to perform open surgeries. In open surgery, cartilage and bone layers are seen with a much wider visibility, and the tasks can be done easier and more accurately, although the inflation at tip of the nose may be resolved relatively later.
